Charting the ever changing waters of the disability system can be incredibly confusing. At the same time having a child with a disability can feel like an isolating experience. It is not uncommon to feel like you are alone on the journey and that no one else really understands what you are going through. This page is dedicated to connecting you with information that will empower you to have choices which provide greater control over your young person’s future.
The disability sector can be a minefield of confusing terminology and endless acronyms. It appears difficult to find someone who really understands what they all mean. This section will hopefully provide clarity to some of the most common questions asked.
